Thunder Mountain Loop Trail is a 14 mile hike in Colville National Forest that will take about 8 hours to complete with Fido. This hike is best for the solitude it offers you and your dog. The only company you are likely to encounter is the local wildlife. Keep Fido close by as the are is filled with signs of bear. Be sure to bring plenty of water along, especially if you plan on camping about half way through this trail by Thunder Mountain.
