Snow Peak Cabin Trail is a 6.4 mile hike in Colville National Forest that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. Although there isn't any shade along this trail, due to the fires in 1988, there is only 1500 feet of elevation gain and the prevalent wind will keep you cool. Prepare for ticks that can be present in the grass at the beginning of the trail. After about 2 miles you will reach a lookout that has views of Edds and Bald Mountains.
