Yakima Rim is an eight-mile hike that will take about four to six hours to complete with Fido. In the spring, this trail comes alive with blooming wildflowers and wandering mule deer, big horn sheep, and other wildlife. If hiking this trail in the summer, you will want to keep a watchful eye for rattlesnakes, scorpions, and black widow spiders. There is only one water source, so bring plenty along for both you and Fido.
